yesterday my mother and i went to mass general hospital's travel clinic to get our recommended shots for our upcoming peru trip. if i had known shots would be involved i might have reconsidered this trip. i had to get 4 shots total(typhoid fever, yellow fever, hepatitis a, and my tetanus booster) and we were prescribed malaria pills and altitude sickness pills...little known fact, i'm not good at getting shots, at all, i hyperventilate and moan incessantly. however, i will admit that the doctor we saw and the nurse who administered the shots were very nice and very good at what they do. but, today my arms feel like they've been repeatedly punch, i can hardly lift them... i can already tell it's going to be a long day.
