one of my favorite daily blogs, simply seleta, posted about these fabulous custom monogrammed melamine plates from la plates. these would be super cute as a set of 6 for outdoor summer bbq season coming up...
i've mentioned this company before, but i can't get enough of them! second wind sails is a friend of mine (whom i technically haven't met, yet, but we are planning for cocktails this summer for sure), she's super creative and i can't recommend her work enough. in fact, i had a custom shower curtain made as my sister's engagement gift with the date of her wedding put on it along with 3 port-holes as well as our custom dog collars. they have an assortment of wonderful gifts for mother's day...
another talented gal i know from college started her very own jewelry line, spotted dog jewelry. she has beautiful pieces to adorn mom's neck or ears this mother's day...
one thing i think everyone should have is their very own custom return address stamp. they are practical and adorable all rolled up into one. i like three designing women, they tend to have the most unique items...
mom and i were in west elm briefly last night poking around too. they have very nice decorative beach home items on display now, i'm loving their color palettes, some of which i think would look perfect in mom's nova scotia house (hint, hint)...
or you could always give the gift that keeps on giving...yes, her very own day planner. mine is at least 12 years old, but i'm not sure i could ever part with it, except maybe for one of these...
