i'm not going to lie, i have a soft spot for old men, i get all sentimental about the grandpa types. and i know james 'whitey' bulger is a criminal, but he's 81, i can't help myself...
having spent a lot of time in southie since living in boston (as a lot of my good friends are residence) i've always been fascinated by the allure of whitey bulger...i always want to go into those townie bars in southie and listen to the old timers talk about him & tell stories of days past about their 'robinhood of southie' (but i don't think they would take to kind to a little blonde from new york asking too many questions)...
as of last night he was captured from being on the lam for nearly 16 years...it was a good run whitey, but now it's time to come home and face the music buddy.
