gehry goes to new york city...

frank gehry's done it again, and this time in new york city. the 8 spruce street address of the beekman tower, near the brooklyn bridge, his is newest 76 story high-rise luxury apartment complex with stunning views. it's slated to open february 2011.

i can't say that i'm a gehry fan, i think his buildings are starting to all look the same...plus i heard they are poorly constructed as well. but i do love the subtle, vertical snake-like curves that this building has. the today show did a segment on the interiors this morning as well, not too shabby for $15,000/month rent...

    Hey Blair! Thanks for the comment about the van. We are thinking about doing another trip in May so we can go to brimfield! But I am actually craving a trip soon so I don't know if we will wait that long!

    This is the tower that is right next to Pace! I've watched the whole construction of it, and been harassed by the construction workers for the duration of my time here, lol.
