as a new englander i have a soft spot in my heart for wood burning fireplaces. when the time comes for me to buy a house, having a wood burning fireplace in the house is going to be a deal breaker. they come in all shapes, sizes & colors, all cozy as can be and usually the centerpiece of whatever room they are in...and i love every single one of them...


the idea of having a place to stack the wood near the fireplace is always useful and a clever design idea. it can look beautiful as long as you're sure to stack your wood neatly. i especially love white birch logs...


and who wouldn't want an outdoor fireplace for those lovely fall evenings...
