recently i've been thinking about planning a warm weather getaway for the late fall to some place tropical, i'm thinking the islands...we could use a vacation from life every once in a while, especially when the new england weather takes a turn for the worse. i was inspired by coastal livings june 2010 issue featuring 'resort style' from kelly wearstler's viceroy anguilla. now, i have to admit, i'm not always a fan of wearstler's work, sometimes i feel her designs are a little too over the top...but i think the viceroy is spectacular...
being the super planner that i am, i've already scoped out a few destinations...as if money were no object of course (in my dreams), i blame my mother for my champagne taste! turks & caicos is high on my list... i'd like to stay at either the regent palm , the grace bay club & resort, or seven stars resort. i'd also maybe like to check out key west, i've never been and think i'd like it; all those adorable colorful houses, art galleries, & great restaurants...in which case i'd like to stay at the parrot key hotel & resort. i'll keep ya'll posted on whether or not we actually book a trip (highly doubtful we will be staying at any of the above mentioned places- wishful thinking on my part!).
