charming does not evening begin to describe the area. i wish it hadn't been so cold, i would have loved to explore around more...
every room in the house was outfitted with a fireplace, so cozy! and her grandmother had quite a collection of antiques & plates that i could have spent hours admiring...
the details of the house have so much character, like these round cast iron floor grills...
or this divine pink wallpaper in the girls room...
we cooked all our meals at the house, it was nice to not go out for a meal the entire time...
and everyone did a lot of reading from books we received as christmas presents...
the girls did a lot of running & jumping in the big open snowy fields behind the house...
these might be my favorite portraits from the time in the berkshires...
thank you abby & rob for good meals, good company, some great winter skiing at the beast, and some kick ass games of scategories by the fire!
