fabric, fabric on the chair...

going fabric shopping this weekend to look for something to recover a chair my mother cast off to me. it has dark wood arms & legs with an upholstered seat & back. i was thinking about stripping the wood and leaving it unfinished to give it a more "shabby" (i hate that expressions by the way) look and then upholstering it with a fresh fabric. there are two pretty unique fabric stores close to boston where i'll be looking, freddy farkels fabric outlet in watertown (can you believe they don't have a website?) and zimman's in lynn. here are a few inspirational fabric colors & patterns to get me going...
