the boyfriend arrived early to join us on vacation yesterday, the girls and i couldn't be more thrilled. i am grateful to have him here before the rest of the siblings arrive so that we can have some alone time, which we need, every couple NEEDS. these two were super happy to see him get out of the car yesterday morning too...
every morning since i've been on vacation i've waken early, like SUPER early. but i want to be up with the sun to drink in all that this place has to offer. like the stillness of day before everyone else has arisen, or this beautiful orange sunrise coming up over the head of the bay this morning...
this morning i also had the pleasure of reading stephanie's post about tender mercies and it touched my heart. i sometimes need to be reminded that in this crazy world, in my hectic life, that i too have tender mercies and that i should not take them for granted, which i often times do.
