
i've always loved the idea of an advent calendar hanging in the house leading up to christmas. although it technical should be a tool to tell about the story leading up to the coming of christ (hence advent), it's way more fun to open up each day to receive a little gift. i personally like putting an ornament in each pocket to hang on the tree, but you can fill it with whatever you'd like. i've always admired this one from pottery barn...
