next up, dining room table replacement...

i know it wasn't that long ago that i purchased a dining room table from ikea, it sort of looks like this one but it's not a 100% match (i can't find it on ikea.com anymore, but mine doesn't have the split leaf in the middle)...


know anyone who might want to purchase this table? i think i'm going to sell it because i'm starting to obsess over wanting a new dining room table, and have my eyes set on this one from west elm. something just a tad more industrial, i sort of love the metal frame legs (and the price is right). i would also kill to have those dope globe lights for above my table too (while we're on the subject of wanting things)...

the other option, and possibly (?) more cost effective (or at the very least the most creative and one-of-a-kind option), would be to have our metal guy create the metal base for me and then purchase some reclaimed lumber from longleaf lumber as the top. this way i can get a custom look and size i want. hmmm, now it's all i can think about!
