this weekend is supposed to be dreary & raining, total bummer for the start of fall. so i've decided that on football sunday i am going to light a fire in the fireplace, throw on my most comfortable jeans & sweater, and try out two recipes both from the pioneer woman (whom i secretly have a girl-crush on)...she is a pretty cool lady, you should definitely start reading her blog people, especially her recipes. i like them because she shows you step-by-step images of what should be going on, very important for a novice cook like myself.
on the menu:
pumpkin spice muffins with cream cheese frosting...
and short ribs with a wine cream sauce...
my stomach is growling just thinking about making this meal!
